Hamer Pellet Fuel is the oldest residential pellet manufacturing company in the Eastern United States. Our company is family-owned, and was initially founded over 25 years ago. Our products, Hamer’s Hot Ones and Hamer’s Smokers, are available at many retailers in several states.

Our family has been involved in the timber industry for five generations and currently owns and operates a lumber company, Jim C. Hamer Company. We started making wood pellets out of excess sawdust from our Hamer saw mills. Jim C. Hamer Company currently manages five different saw mills. As our company began to grow throughout the years, we knew there had to be a better way to dispose of sawdust that would reduce waste. In the late 1980s, we decided we would better utilize the by-product by turning sawdust into hardwood pellets. The sawdust comes right out of Hamer sawmills and other reliable local sources. Starting with sawdust from reliable dealers ensures we have the basis for creating premium grade pellets. Our manufacturing process and testing procedures ensure the quality, clean sawdust turns into a premium grade, low-ash pellet that our customers can depend on and retailers are proud to carry.
